Palestine Solidarity Campaign

Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) in Melbourne aims to build solidarity with the Palestinian people in their struggle for self-determination and justice. Palestine Solidarity Campaign seeks to raise awareness about the ongoing Israeli occupation of Palestine through education, community outreach and public actions.  Palestine Solidarity Campaign promotes activism in support of Palestine in Melbourne, as well as throughout Australia and internationally

PSC campaigns for:

  1. An end to Israeli occupation and colonisation of all Palestinian (East Jerusalem, West Bank and Gaza) and Arab lands, including the dismantling of illegal Israeli settlements, the apartheid wall/fence and the withdrawal of Israeli troops from territories occupied by Israel in 1967.
  2. Recognition of the fundamental rights of the Palestinians with Israeli citizenship living inside of Israel to full equality.
  3. Respects, supports and promotes the right of return for Palestinian refugees to return to their homes and properties as stipulated in UN resolution 194.
  4. Calls for an end to the Israeli siege and blockade of the Gaza Strip.

Palestine Solidarity Campaign does not adhere to any particular ideology and is not affiliated with any political party or religious grouping.  Palestine Solidarity Campaign includes people from a diversity of cultural and political backgrounds, as well as religious affiliations. Palestine Solidarity Campaign is open too and seeks to collaborate with all groups and individuals who are committed to our goal of ending the Israeli occupation of Palestine and who support justice for the Palestinian people.

PSC meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at the New International Bookshop at Victoria Trades Hall, cnr of Lygon and Victoria St, Carlton
